The Jail Bird

You're trapped in a mysterious prison, and have been for years, possibly decades. You wouldn't know, you stopped counting the days after the first couple of thousand. 

Then something strange happens. A man gives you a note with clues to help you escape, and moments later, your cell door opens, and with that, your one and only chance at freedom arises. 

Just remember, all is not as it seems.
